When you host an event for School on Wheels or give a presentation for your workplace or classroom, you can use this flyer to help your audience understand the impact of homelessness on education. Download one and print or email as many as you need. This visual is a great starting point to get people engaged in our mission.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell the School on Wheels story to a group. That’s why we’ve done it for you. This short film can be used to start your presentation or introduce your event. It covers how we do what we do so well, and features some of our youngest donors and volunteers. Feel free to share on the big screen or send a link to friends.

Where do you start when engaging someone new in learning more about School on Wheels? Here are a few things we like to highlight when we are talking to someone new about why we are so passionate about School on Wheels and the children we serve.
Mission: To provide one-on-one tutoring and educational advocacy for school-aged children impacted by homelessness

How it works: Providing over 6,700 tutoring and academic support sessions, 441 volunteer tutors, 15 shelter and school partner sites and equipping the parents of students School on Wheels serves to advocate for their child’s education.
